LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC. (LHB), one of the country's leading building materials companies, has been officially recognized as a Top Employer for 2026 by the Top Employers Institute, a globally renowned authority on HR excellence. This prestigious certification recognizes the company's outstanding people practices and commitment to creating an exceptional workplace. Currently, only six multinational companies in Bangladesh have earned this distinction.

The Top Employers Institute evaluates organizations through its comprehensive HR Best Practices Survey, which assesses performance across six HR domains and 20 key topics, including People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), Wellbeing, and Employee Listening. LafargeHolcim Bangladesh demonstrated strong performance across these areas, reinforcing its position as one of the country's leading employers.

This achievement reflects LHB's unwavering commitment to its people. The company continues to foster an inclusive and engaging workplace where talent is nurtured, diversity is celebrated, employee wellbeing is prioritized, and every individual is empowered to reach their full potential.

To celebrate this milestone, LafargeHolcim Bangladesh hosted a special event for its employees and their families in January at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka.

Speaking at the event, Iqbal Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer of LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC., said:

"The progress we achieve at LHB is fundamentally driven by the dedication of our people. We believe that true company success goes beyond business metrics; it is reflected in the growth, development, and full potential of every individual. We remain committed to investing in our employees' wellbeing while fostering a strong sense of pride in being part of a company that is contributing to sustainable construction and building a better future."
